「生体分子シミュレーション・モデリング」サブグループについて

日本生物物理学会において、個別の専門分野について深く議論するためのサブグループという仕組みが創設されました。分野の交流・活性化を図りたく、2021年度に「生体分子シミュレーション・モデリング 」サブグループを立ち上げました。

「生体分子シミュレーション・モデリング」サブグループの趣旨

タンパク質、核酸、脂質膜を含む生体分子系のシミュレーション・モデリングを行っている多様な研究者が定期的に集まる研究会を開催し、専門的な討論や交流を行える場をつくりたい。生体分子系のシミュレーション、シミュレーションと実験データを融合した数理モデリング、構造・機能予測、及びデザインなどを含む。近年、機械学習など新しい技術も導入されており、分野の発展には素早い情報交換が必要である。

We would like to organize a workshop on biomolecular simulations and modeling including proteins, nucleic acids, and lipid membranes for researchers in the field to discuss and communicate on a regular basis. Biomolecular simulations, mathematical modeling to integrate simulations and experimental data, structure/function predictions, rational designs, and etc. are included. Rapid communications among researchers are needed to advance the field, considering new techniques such as machine learning have been introduced in recent years.
